Robert Flynn is currently the CEO of Zetools, Inc., a software company providing enterprise class software solutions that enable IP video to be authored, managed and distributed across all IP–based platforms through one–button publishing. A pioneer in this industry, Zetools has developed customer and/or strategic relationships with a variety of companies including AOL, ABC Television, Viacom’s TVLand, and Microsoft. In 2004, Zetools was awarded an Engineering Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Interactive TV.
Prior to this, Mr. Flynn was most recently the SVP Business Development and Co–Founder of Liquid Audio, Inc., Mr. Flynn was responsible for all of the corporate and business development activities of the company. Liquid Audio was the first company to develop a complete software platform for the legal distribution and commerce of digital media on the Internet.
Prior to this, Mr. Flynn was a founding partner in Entertainment–Media Venture Partners, a institutional venture capital fund investing in technology companies focused on the entertainment and media industries, and in buyouts of entertainment and media companies, such as television stations, cable systems and movie theatre chains.. In addition to the Liquid Audio Board of Directors, Mr. Flynn has sat on the Board of Directors of Integrated Media Systems, EMV Cable Corp. and Act III Theatres. Mr. Flynn has a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management, UCLA
